Priceless support
Priceless support
Regarding the mayoral race: Just goes to prove that it is not about the money, nor who donated it. I’m referring to the Tribune-Herald headline, Friday, Aug. 12, “Lau leads in contributions.”
Instead, it is about the person and what he (or she) stands for.
“Kim crushes field,” Tribune-Herald, Aug. 14: Like Kim said, “It’s priceless, you can’t buy that kind of support.”
Congratulations, Harry. Welcome back aboard, captain!

Critics got it wrong
Congratulations, Mayor Harry Kim! Your critics said that your major opponent’s war chest was larger than yours, and you could not win. Those critics were wrong.
Then the critics said mathematically the odds were against you. Those critics were wrong.
Then your critics said for you to make a comeback as mayor was a long shot. Again, those critics were wrong.
The moral of this story is, think more optimistically than pessimistically.
Welcome back to where you belong, Mayor Kim!
P.S. No more pCards for you and your staff, OK?

Clean up county
Congratulations to Mr. Harry Kim.
The Tribune-Herald’s headline Sunday was spot-on: “Kim crushes field.”
He beat a field of a dozen candidates in the primary, including the (Mayor Billy) Kenoi crony with all the money. Amazing!
Voters: You got it right this time.
Harry: Please clean the place up when you get in there. That’s why we hired you (again)!
